Here's a trackday video I shot at Eagles Canyon Raceway last week. Used a Sony Handycam MiniDV, got the mount from SportbikeCam.com.

Eagles Canyon is a pretty cool track, relatively new, they've been very responsive about redoing the track in some areas (that's why you'll see patches). The track has 16 turns and lots of elevation changes.

Video is only two laps, so it's not that long to watch.

That video is actually the 954. It's a pretty slow lap, actually, but I had a huge camcorder and couldn't tuck or lean properly. It's about a 2:30 lap, I can do a 2:02 on my 600.

I did 5 race days last year (I did several classes per day, nothing spectacular but had a blast) and then one day we did a 4 hour endurance with a couple of buddies (we ended up in 4th, not bad for the first time doing an endurance race, since we had no idea about how to pit properly!!)

I started teaching for RideSmart (trackday provider) so I did about 25 trackdays with them. Lots of fun, get to play around in the afternoon after instruction is done. And it's GREAT to actually get paid to ride around on a track!!!

I'm now just street riding with buddies, all track days and the race season is over. We'll start up in February probably, and first race in March (which happens to be Eagles Canyon, 4 hour endurance). I've got an 8 hour endurance at Texas World Speedway in April. That one will be a blast, I bet.
