hey fred just a thought and im not sure how all the other guys on here fill but i think we need a cap on a certain number of post that a member most have on the site before they can try and sale stuff. just so that people get an idea of who they are and a little more credit behind them. i know i wouldnt buy something from someone who only has one post of on the site. just a thought let me know what you think, and if any of you other guys have any thoughts on this postem up

I agree with that for sure jrode. Plus, it cuts down on members just joining for a free place to post their for sale stuff. So, I will second jrode's request.

That makes good since. It seems like quite a few people just join to try and sell stuff. Often people don't even take the time to introduce themselves to everyone. What if someone is an avid member of another forum, and they have multiple sales/posts on said site, or they have multiple ebay sales. Can some of those references do in lieu of posts? Just curious, but I do agree that is a good rule of thumb. It could save someone some money/headache by screening out the few bad seeds that post once or twice and then never come back, or worse...

Its a very good Idea, My local sportbike club has a 25 post min before allowed to sale on the forum.

I joined just selling stuff. If the forum has decent conversation then it usually expands beyond just sales.

Just my view from the other side of this topic.

lol this is true!!!!

I think there should be a minumum post limit before you can sell!! maybe 20-25 posts. To little and they will just post BS, enough and they may actually contribute alittle, then stick around!!!

Define contibute.

I think selling parts to fellow bikeers far cheaper than they would pay at a stealership is a HUGE contribution.

It is a contribution no doubt, but Im talking about contributing to the forum as in helping folks with problems/questions, and introducing themselves and not just comming in a selling stuff right away!!

its not to keep people from being able to sale its just to weed out the few people who may be trying to scam people to just get there money and never send them anything.
