i rode up on a group of yakuza one night this summer... six guys all wearing icon helmet and jacket, jeans and shoes, all on the EXACT same gsxr 600. they looked at me like i was a fuckin alien... i re-affirmed at that moment that i would NEVER go mainstream, no matter how nice the bike is. i hate the popular vote... hence why i ride a street fighter 87 hurricane, lol.

lol ive had so many people like yelling from cars in intersection to me stainding next to my old baby in a parking lot like all kinds of shit, nice bike, what is that, holy shit cool bike all that stuff, its funny when it was stock everyone loved my brothers bikes, like terrys zx9r fighter, and thought mine was meh whatever. strip the bitch down and ride a skeleton with an engine everyone thought it was totally badass all summer.

yeah the old girl has given me some greif but its so worth it... i have the ONLY hurricane in my town, probably one of no more than ten in the whole province... the first day i saw the bike i knew it was mine. ran like crap, was dirty, scratched, and the engine had actually burned through the fairings on one side, ive replaced all four carbs and the clutch cable, its got a blown fork seal adn needs new brakes, but shit shes a fun old bitch anyways. id NEVER count out a bike just cause its old, i can out corner my brother on his 600rr and i can out stunt my other brother on his brand new zx-10 ltd. i get a lot of credit for that bike and what i can do with it, im proud of the old girl. shes made a name for hurricanes in this town.

There are so few sportbikes around this area its not even funny. I bet for every sportbike I see I see about 40 Harleys.

I can't say that I see more of one bike then another around here. Almost ALL the bikes around here are 600's.
