Last night i had my headlight looking at tree branches over the road and i think i caught a glimpse out the rear view mirror of the back light lighting up the asphalt...scared the shit out of me but it was fun. I was just letting the rpms drop a bit then getting on the throttle again with a little pull to the handle bars...well i was having a hard time for the first 3 attempts then i did what i said above on my 4th attempt. Guess i kinda got angry and gave it a little to much gas. I wish i could mess around a bit more but if i crash my bike and i am out a bike. Just hit 3,000 miles today since i have bought my bike.

practice makes perfect, but when you get comfortable doing it youll find that you only want to do wheelies in optimal conditions, because you wont be able to do them when youre tense, like in traffic and such.

take it easy, get used to it, and you shouldnt have to worry about wrecking the bike. youll know when you reach your limits.

set up your suspension really soft up front and run your speed up to 15-20 close the throttle and the front suspension will load up, at that point blip your throttle and you will get the feel for how much throttle you need. Power wheelies are easier to get up but a little harder to ride in 1st gear since it's so torquey. Clutch wheelies in second is where it's at. Oh yeah when practicing wheelies lower your rear tire pressure to about 20 lbs...

Be very careful w/ the power wheelies...very easy to loop it over !!
Clutch it up is the way to go if ya ask me!! I might pop mine up a little in first under power, but i definately clutch it if I want to carry the wheel a ways...so much more controlled!!

yeah clutch wheelies are where its at you can pull them at such low speeds and get up to BP quicklike...

I use to go through a set a seals a month. Then I put racetech springs with
.10 spring compression insted of the factory .70.

Stiff is where its at mate. Have you never had to hop off your shit and chase it down while pulling your clutch?
