Roads were great except for the three bridge constructions on 677. We don't do early; left Decatur around 2:00 PM, but only saw two PoPo's - St. Jo PD and a Montague Sheriff within 30 seconds of each other. Indian Bridge was deserted, as usual...zoom zoom.

Oh, I almost forgot - sweeping around a nice right hander, and a Forestburg Fire Truck appears from the other direction, a good 3 foot in my lane. No lights, no sirens, just cruising around apparently trying to take out sport bikes.
200 miles?!!!

I need to get in shape again.

Glad you escaped the jaws of the EMT and Fire and Rescue squad.

Keep in touch and we'll plan something.

Cool...Rand...Tye...

I would like to hit some of you guy's fave spots then get one of you to use
my digital cam at my fave spot (shhh...), and take some pics make sure my hanging off technique is coming along.

At this spot...it's only about a mile and a half long, but if we spot for each
other:

Great surface to the tarmac...(race track quality)

No cross traffic.

No cops...Federal park..so that's a bozo nono for the popo.

Has it all...downhill turns, esses, straights...

Im down to meet up as well. But I think I will be driving a little further than I would want. So i will have to load my bike in my truck to meet you guys first. Im just too far north to ride the bike to meet, then roll out on a long ride.
