Default Anyone in Bridgeport area?

If anyone is up for a killer ride, and I mean killer ride on Sunday mornings early,
(about from7am to 11 am) PM me, and we'll take off with some buds of mine.

Intense riding guaranteed.

Tim just gets up waaaaaay to early. He told me about ya'lls last ride. FM 4 is a favorite, but my group likes afternoons and early evenings. I work in I.T., you know us guys never get up early.

Have you done 455/677/Indian Bridge? The bridge is way cool.

No, we didn't do 455/677 or the Bridge. I think we were, but by that time
the Super Troopers were all over the place.

I'll have to check that out.

I like a bit more corners in my riding...like esses...and where you really have to trust the edge of your tires.

I had a great time on Hwy4 though. The most sustained speeds I have ever ridden. I told Tim..."Yeah...you know man, I've seen what my bikes can do, but not for 50-60 miles straight."

By the way, I found out what was knocking 10 mph off my top end.

Damn clutch was not adjusted properly.

I was riding the other night, and kept messing with it. Finally got it adjusted
correctly...whole different feel.

The bridge is cool because you can top out - beautiful concrete in the middle of nowhere, hardly any cars. We were there 30 minutes in the middle of the afternoon and saw two cars.

677 from Forestburg to St Jo, then it's north just past a little town called Illinois Bend to the bridge, which is over the Red River.

677 is pretty fun, too. It's a looong way from FM 4, ya'll wouldn't have done both in the same day unless you were really up for a ride!!

You talking 677 near a town called Bridge City?

I'll have to Google Earth it I think.

As far as tired...man, after riding from where I live to where Tim lives then
spending 3 hours hauling ass, then riding back to my house...my butt was so sore...felt as if my seat was a pair of stilts instead of a 1/2 inch of dense cell foam.

I was sore the rest of the day. LOL....

Had a blast though. Probably the best pure all out ride I've ever had.

Try 33.91639N, 97.51015W in Google Earth. When 677 crosses the Red River it becomes 89.

677 picks up in Forestburg, then continues through St. Jo. It's pretty fun past St. Jo, and then it ends at the bridge.
