Default October 25th

October 25th, Cycle Gear off Myatt drive in Madison, will be having a tire sale, free barbecue. There will be many items on sale, 10-20% off, with Pirelli Diablo's on sale for 169.99 for a SET! for the 170 size rears, and 189.99 for the 190 size rears, thats also a SET! Can't get em much cheaper than that.

Turnout should be pretty good, so you want to get there early. Alpinestar and other gear will also be on sale, with 20$ coupons and the like. Helmets will also be on sale (any of those in stock) Come out and meet Jeremiah the new store manager, he's knowledgeable, friendly, and is a twisted fanatic.

I believe there will be several groups taking off from the store at around 11 for some rides, ranging from 50 miles to 250 miles..all backroads, all ride at your own pace. Should be a great day, if you have some time, show up, have some free barbecue and maybe spend a little of that hard earned cash on your baby (bike) LOL..cya there

Rofl! Look forward to meeting ya. Looks like the barbecue is bein ixnayed. The district manager restricted their budget, so its probably gonna be hamburgers and hot dogs..no, I don't work for em. Jeremiah is a good friend, just tryin to help him get some volume thru the store..anyone see the new shoei line of helmets? They have an all new line..some of them are simply bad ass.

Well, got my new Pirelli's Saturday morning, gonna try to get em on the bike sometime this week, paid 189.00 for a set..not bad. Anyone see the internet sale on Bridgestone BTO16's? 200.00 a set on the net..can't remember the site, I'll see if I can find it and post it. Those tires are pretty good as well. I'm a Pirelli fan, but the bridgestones proved to be a good tire last track day. They did get a little greasy on the outer edge, but didn't seem to lose too much traction in the corners..I'd rate the Pirelli's just a tiche better, then the bridgestones, then the dunlops..Michelin is a close 3rd as well, I've got pilot power rubber on my bike now, they did fine on lasting, I think I have around 9k miles on the current set, I expect the Pirelli's to get me about 8k miles before I have to buy a new set..may try the bridgestones next. BTW, the cycle gear sale was a success, sold 6 sets of the 190 size rears, before 930. 170's sold out around noon (13 sets). If you got up there, and I didn't see you, sorry, left to go ride at 11, just a short trip, maybe 150 miles of backroads. Planning a trip (weather permitting) toward Land between the lakes in the next week or two..post up if you need info.

Michelin is a good tire, but I think once you try the Pirelli's you'll become pretty loyal to the brand. having said that, I think the Bridgestone's are pretty damn good too.
