I have an awesome 93 CBR 900RR with just over 5000 miles on it...
Well this bike was used in the
Reviews for the motorcycle magazines and the test riders put
Just over 300 miles on it. the owner had put the remainder of 4800 miles
Before it went to storage for 14 yrs. Then my good friend had bought it and working at his motorcycle shop Restored it to pefect condition( just replaced hoses and lines, major cleaning, anything rubber was replaced) except for the exhaust…..I then bought it from him since he’s getting married and needs to save some $$. I rode it for a few hundred miles but my wife likes to ride with me and im not that comfortable riding with her on it so im looking for a cruiser or touring bike... I have not owned it for long (a few months, as you will see on the clear title) since i have dropped it from $5000 from the original listing. I'm looking to get $4000 i need to sell ASAP... • FIRST OFF ALL THE WORK WAS DONE BEFORE THE BIKE WAS EVER STARTED.
PAINT IS ORIGINAL EXCELLENT CONDITION NO FADE!!
• All work was done in august of 07
• All parts replaced by genuine Honda parts.
• All lines replaced
• All rubber replaced.
• Water pump/seal replaced
• New fuel pump
• New fuel filter new fuel petcock
• New k&n air filter
• New yuasa battery
• New tires dunlap qualifiers
• Brake fluid was flushed 4 times the serviced with motul fr/rr
• Oil replaced and filter using golden spectra semi blend
• Stage 2 jetting, plus the carb diaphrams were replaced and setup(throttle has response like it has fuel injection)
• Timing advanced 2.5 degrees ( use only 91 or higher fuel) you can retard timing back to normal for standard grade gasoline.
• Stainless steel full exhaust by yoshi (saves over 18 lbs) stock was very heavy.
• Bike was totally cleaned thru whole process
• All work was professionally done and maintained
• Dyno chart shows 121HP at the rear wheel with a near perfect curve ( waiting to get dyno chart, will send pics) also flat line on exhaust gas measurements
• From 1st to 3rd gear after 5000rpm it will flatten your eyeballs
• This bike is in show room quality
• Excellent Throttle response
• Approximately $1900 to restore
