Its really hard for me to hear my pump. I can only hear mine when it isnt pumping gas, i.e. dry pumping!!! Then I can hear it really well. Does it click for a few seconds then quit, pump for a few seconds then quit??? This is while its idling!

hmmm clicking doesnt sound good, electric motors often click if theyre shorting out or malfunctioning. id check to make sure there are no sparks, trust me a bad fuel pump can end your bike.

yes , when it's idling it starts for a few seconds the stops briefly. i wonder if this is the cause of my battery dieing or when comming to a stop the bike just cuts off.

try that, if it does the same thing its a wiring problem. if not, you caught a fuel pump on its last legs just in time.... mine died and lit my bike on fire and i didnt even notice until i stopped... it sucked. hey come to the texas hold em poker room, lol im bored out of my face
