You can get the suits for a lot less money, but, if you already have one, so much the better..check the net, the wife found some "ok" suits for abotu 300 bcks.
Also, if you gonna take it to the track, I woldn't worry about paint an fiberglass, its going to get scratched up at the least, save the money. or, buy a Sharkskinz for the track, and use the fairing your planning on repairing when your not at the track. Fairings usually don't take very long to swap out. (half an hour? maybe?)
