Default Caution!!

There's a small company in Redbud, IL called Sportcycles. I bought a bike from the place... the guy's name is Dave something. He has a lot of shady business deals going on. I made the mistake of paying him for the bike and taking it home with me and he told me he'd mail me the title... I know, bad choice. Long story short, I never got the title, he wouldn't answer my calls, and I basically had to go in there with a buddy and "strong-arm" the guy to get my money back. Sitting out front of the shop (which was closed during business hours) I met several other guys who'd paid for various parts and never received them. Just a word of caution.

Sportcycles in Redbud, IL is NO GOOD!!

I did get my money from the guy. Actually, I live about 3 hours away and when I went to "strong-arm" him, I left with a check for my money back, the original bike (still no title), another bike with its title signed to me and he promised to bring me cash (I didn't trust his check) the next weekend and pick up his bikes and the check. Man, I had him bent over a barrel! What a jackass! Anyhow, I'd avoid that place and that guy at all costs.
