Look man its not that great of a deal for you. seriously just give up on this bike. sell your bike for 3500-4000 and get a newer F4 or an F3 with ZERO doubt about its condition. Personally id have walked away after reading the first page of posts.

HE wants your bike cause it's worth more money and he thinks your a sucker fish. Prove him wrong do what sokanxx said sell your bike and get something you really want...
something with maintnance records and the like.

Your getting jacked. You can trade your bike for a year 2000+ fuel injected bike, easy. That thing sounds like a half baked project that will only work half the time. IMO
