Just saying hello
Hi everyone, I have been a member for a little while. I have been sitting in silently for the most part. I figured that I would introduce myself since it seems like there are some pretty cool and pretty helpful/ knowledgeable people around. My name is phillip, I am from chattanooga and I am a metal fabricator. Hello all...

Thank you, I love it. I am totally obsessed with sport bikes now. I must confess I have always been a harley rider, and a motocross rider, but since buying my first Honda/Sport bike I am a huge fan and convert. I will always own a Honda from this point forward. Superior engineering and reliability.
Nice to formally meet you guys...

welcome to the site bro!
take it from me, if youre used to that extended swingarm, start with the -1 front sprocket first, then go to the +2 once youre used to the added tourque. beleive me, im sitting at -2 +3 on my hurricane and its retarded. have fun, ride safe!

I couldn't be more pleased. I feel like I have made the right descision, this time anyway.
In regard to the sprocket issues I am a sure you are right about the change being so drastic. I bought the bike with the suspension all jacked up. I don't understand it. Honda spends millions on top of millions to test and prove these bikes under every set of circumstances possible, and then joe schmucatelli goes and changes the geometry (rake and trail) by slamming the bike and stretching the frame out. I don't think it's very fashionable in the first place, but when you factor in the lack of functionality, it just seems like shooting yourself in the face.
I think when I get the rear wheel back in the same area code as the front wheel I will definetley have to stay on my toes and correct any bad habits or laziness that I have developed with this extended, set up before it bites me in the ass.
