Your bike looks great and I admire your creativity. I agree I wasn't a fan of the banana seat but I simply can't put seat cowls on my bikes because I usually have a passenger or a backpack that would scratch the hell out of it. So what I've done is on my F3 I took a piece of red vinyl and sown a rear cover, new strap, then stretched and stapled it to the seat.

For my 929 I just made a full rear seat cover out of black and yellow vinyl to follow the graphics of the bikes. This way someone (ie the girlfriend) can just right on back and not have to worry about removing or replacing the seat cowl.

Sweet Triax, I like the vinyl idea. Hard to do on a black bike. Yours look great. I really like the 929's.

Thanks BTW!

Triax: your seats look awesome. I know that Second Look makes seat covers for some bikes that makes the rear seat color matched. A 04' Nicky Hayden RC51 came by my shop a few days ago and had the riders and passenger seats done in silver to match the rear cowling and it looked super tough. sorry i dont have picture of it

Thanks for the props on the wife fellas!
Since the F2 rear side fairings come out a bit from where the seat sits, I'm thinking of making it flush to it...then maybe making a semi-bubble or hump to the top of it...
Thats my plan anyways....I'll have to post as it goes.
