Default Resonance

That got a little hairy there for a minute fellas, but I'm glad to see that we've come to a peaceful conclusion. Good thoughts on resonance and tank slappers. That's something no one wants. Again, thanks for the input. I'll have a look at those clipons.

ok i just went through this with a local douche

running after market clip ons can be good, the vortex's one are good becouse they have a real lowdrop to em and if you break one you dont have to fuck around with pulling your top triple off,you can just replace the bar, same with woodcraft, look at most peoples track bikes if their good fro track im sure the would be fine for you.
as far as vibration goes,if your vibrating bars cause you to wobble, then step away from the bike and go buy a minivan and injoy soccer practice.
HOWEVER
if its vibrating like a bastard it might not be your bars, could have a fucked bearing in the front wheel or something might not be tight, get that shit checked!!!
but a buzzing like vibrations in the bars can be fixed by heavy ass bar ends, soft grips, what i did my alot of my bikes is fill the bars up with bb's from a bb gun and the drop a shit load of silicone in there to hold em in place,it works great

Cool

The BBs idea is great. I kept the factory clip-ons and just bought a couple new inner bar weights (both were broken from 2 different "spills"). But if/when I go to aftermarket clip-ons I'll surely try out the BBs and silicone. Thanks!
