Default Bought me a new part..

Well I've been running the two bros carbon fiber pipe since I bought the bike and I like it alot. I was reading an article the other day about slip on pipes not having any back pressure and how it affected the engines performance negatively.

I was curious as to the truth of this article so I went out and bought the power tip that goes in the end of the pipe. Took it home and went to put it on and snapped three of the six hex bolts that hold the endcap on the canister, ( put absolutely minimal torque on them and they popped as if they were plastic!!!

Went BACK to cycle gear and got some good steel bolts to replace. got all but one broken one out ( need to get a new easyout..

Anyway I got it installed and rode for about an hour before work, The Powertip as they call it made a huge difference in the tone of the pipe, in a good way. Sounds a little deeper and refined at the same time a few decibles quieter.

It also seems to pull just a bit harder from 5k to 9k rpms. They should have put this on the pipe when they sell em. I think its a poor way to milk another $30 out of ya because they do perform better with it.

Anyone else put this on their two bros??
Did you like it?
