Default extended swing arm

What is the Purpose of getting an extended swing arm? they look rediculas and are gay as hell.

They were and are initially made for Drag racers. They "extend" the wheel base, therefore making the bike launch easier, and hookup better. They are ALOT less wheelie prone too. Now guys who cant rail the corners want to extend their bikes for the looks!! Some like it some dont!!!

yeah, indeed. extended swingarms are all about looking awesome, sad and true. they used to be seen only at the strip, now theyre everywhere. but whatever, the people who put them on perfectly good sport bikes didnt know how to ride in the first place, so the fact that the bike cant perform makes it perfect for the rider. theyre only on sport bikes to drag race people while wearing a t shirt shorts and flip flops anyways... lol friggin jokers the lot of em.

lol eye, i saw this dude at the street races like 2 weeks agowith the extended swing arm on a busa. it seemes like the entire rear tire was past the back fender. lol i was trying to take pics but it was to dark. lol
