Default Another chapter in the ongoing Honda service saga

Well About three weeks ago I was out doin some errands and on the last stop I went to start thebike and nuthin..she was dead. So I put her in second and pop-started it and away I went.

Got home and phoned honda and let em know I'd be by and that my battery was shot, so have one ready so they could just slap it in..
let the run-a-round commence.

I got there and of course they were to busy to get right at it so I left the bike....Went and got it late in the afternoon after being up all night working...walking zombie mode by then, and took it home.

Fast forward a week and wouldn't ya know it...stranded again....Dead dead deadski....so assumng they put a new battery in it I called them and asked what the hell was goin on, they said they did NOT replace it they just charged it and gave me back the bike....Mind you they owe me 5 battery replacements at no charge w/ my warranty!

So he told me on the phone that the battery had to fail testing to be replaced and that maybe my riding w/ my brights on was the problem....I know WTF??

So when I got there this morning I turned the run switch off and cranked it til there was no pulse ( only took about 5 seconds) and had a tech come out and test it immediately....It failed

SO I got a new battery this time around and all is well....My point is why the hell do they have to fine print me every time i need something....I hate honda service!!!!!

Tell me about it. Just today I found a nail in my rear tire, so tomorrow im going down to the dealership to get it replaced. When I bought the bike I also bought the tire protection plan so I dont have to pay for a new one. I can only see them trying to give me some shit.

when i open my own shop ill service hondas for free just cause i like them more. lol, that would be funny.

"yeah, i brought my bike by, my buddy says you do free service"
"sure thing, what does your buddy ride?"
"he rides a honda"
"groovy, well bring your honda in well do 'er up!"
"ummmm i have a yamaha."
"GTFO."

itll be even funnier cause ill have to charge myself to service my kawi, hahaha. honda is just better... but im tired of going fast thats why i have a kawi now LOL

for those times when honda is just too fast, theres kawasaki. for everything else, theres mastercard.

I got that plan to..they told me that it also covered the rim no questions asked....BULLSHIT...they only cover up to $250 towards a new rim!! so I guess it pays to read the small print and take all their words as bullshit!!

My buddy has the same so when his tires get down close to the minimun tread depth he runs over a nail in both tires and gets a new set!!

How many replacements do you get???

So far this is my first "free set". I would use it more often, but im scared one time Im not gonna have enough tread on the tire, and me haveing to pay for it. It would be my luck.

Honda says that they will replace it as long as the tire is not below 2/32 at the lowest spot of wear......at least that's what their service tech told me..he could be dead wrong due to the fact that all of them I've dealt with at this dealership are Fawkin idiots!!! So basically it can be damn near a slick and they'll still replace it???? 2/32's isn't that about bald??

Dealers are the antichrist and exactly why I did not purchase the extended warranty. My bike has never seen another wrench but mine and never will.
