Default caution falling rocks

Just got my 07 600 back from honda. I was riding through town in heavy traffic following a truck with 4 guys in the back( illegal day workers I assume) and they decided to toss about a 15 pound rock out in front of me. Tried to miss it but it took an odd bounce and i whacked it. The bars jerked left and the bike went vertical and i do mean straight up. I got the bike settled down and pulled over. The impact caved my front rim in and actually dented my michellin tire. I can't say I have ever seen a tire dent?( much respect to
Mich. pilot power). Anyway I had bought a tire and rim warranty from the dealership when i bought the bike (499$). They told me that it would cover any and all damage on the rim and tire in the case of an accident .However I ended up paying another 600$ out of pocket. On the contract, they put in very small print that it only covers up to 250$ towards a new rim. So they pretty much sold me 250$ for 499$ pretty good racket if you ask me. I guess it's my fault for not reading the small print and trusting the word of my dealership.I guess the moral of the story is watch out for falling rocks I sure didn't expect it. Something new for all to watch out for . Pretty dirty trick if you ask me . Happy and on the road again.

Well, i've had plastic bags thrown back at me, chew spit at me and a truck purposly drifted off the road and pelted me with dirt, but never had a rock thrown at me. Ur lucky those bastages didn't cause u to wreck (or maybe they're the lucky ones, if u catch my drift).

Man, illegal immigrants are annoying. I mean, I don't have anything against them coming into the country, but why not do it the right way instead of sneaking in. I work with a Mexican that came to America when he was young (he is a legal resident btw) and he even talks bad about the illegal immigrants. The way he puts it is, "I know they are my own people but they are everywhere... If I gotta pay Uncle Sam then they should too."
