Default Tank Bag

My gf just moved about 2 hrs away and I'm pumped to get a few road trips in each month on the bike. I'm looking for a tank bag or something that fits on the back set to store clothes, etc for the ride. Does anyone here use these and have input? It seems like a tank bag would burn the paint on the gas tank from constantly rubbing during vibrations. Also, I'd be interested in buying something used...

Icon makes my favorite tank bag, called the primer bag. It's pretty low profile and looks like it would work good for day trips, but not so much long hauls.

I know that's right! I just need somewhere to store those Magnum XLs and I need to get a radar detector for when I'm making the trip in 1 hour instead of 2.
