Default Frame Sliders

I hear modifications are required to the fairings for some frame slider applications on the 2006 600RR. Any product suggestions? I don't really want to cut my fairings.

Here's exactly what you need man.

These are no cut sliders. I think you might compromise some of the protection with them being in a different location than traditional sliders. It should'nt be anything major at all though. Hope this helps you 600RR

Be careful with no cuts. On the 1KRR I had the bracket that you had to install so that you didn't have to cut the fairings would sometimes bend and really !@#$%^& things all up.

You might wanna check that out.

Is it better to cut the fairing and put a real frame slider on?

I'd opt for nothing if I were you. sliders are only good if you drop the bike in the garage or you have under 10mph accident. Other than that they will tend to flip your bike and do more damage than good. Just my opinion though.

dood some protection is better then none, while most "cheap" sliders might *cough LP cough* if you got a decent set of yoyodyne or some rails then you be fine, and chance are if hes dumping ti that fast the guna be alot of hurt on that bike

Go to the track and I'm sure you'd find that 99% of people opt to not install sliders for the reason I mentioned above.
