Default Fuel Capacity?

I own a 2005 Honda F4i and was wondering how much fuel does the tank hold?

In the manual it says 4.8 gal.

But the reserve light always starts blinking indicating it's empty right?, and when I fill it up it's around 3.8 gal.

Any thoughts, I don't want to push it to see how much it really holds before it runs out.

It is 4.8 gallons. the low fuel light tells you when you have one gallon left. So if you get 45 MPG, then youve got roughly 45 miles left once the low fuel light comes on!

Haha, If you like your engine cutting out and sputtering. The one time I ran out of gas it just jerked a couple of times and it was out. Not really any warning. Just Bam, no gas!
