Default -1 +2

what kind of difference does a gearing change make. i know guys have been talking about this -1 +2 business. how noticable is the change in acceleration? will i be doing wheelies by asccident under hard acceleration? i've only put 2500 miles on my bike and i am not really in wheelie mode yet.

I don't think you'll have to worry bout too many accidental wheelies doin a -1 +2. You still have to clutch it up but it will definately be alot easier!!!

As Far as acceleration, HUGE difference! Most bang for the buck mod you can do if ya ask me....I just went -1 in the front on mine and it alone was considerably noticeable!

no accidental wheelies, bro. its still just sixhundo man. you will notice a huge difference in torque and acceleration. You will be able to clutch up your sitdowns and get 3rd gear standups when you get used to them. People say no way you could get a 3rd but hah i do them and I currently only have +4 on the back. I got ride of my -1, +5 just a while back.

do it you will love it that's what i run and the torque and bottom end albeit very noticeable it's not a turbo charger. You won't regret it no accidental wheelies although you can power wheelie in first gear but that takes so assitance from your body aswell. It will be the best thing you've done, but get speedo healer or ayellow box, so your speedo will be spot on...

I run -1, +2 on my F3, and I love it!!!! You definately dont have to worry about accidental wheelies, but she tears out of corners with new vigor with that setup. She will pick the front tire up just alittle bit in first under power and pick the tire up alittle when I click it into second, but I just stay in it.

DO IT you wont regret it!!

Go for it! You'll love it! Running a -1/+2 on my F1 and noticed a considerable change in low end power and acceleration. Like everyone says, probably not gonna have a problem with accidental wheelies. It'll just make 'em easier to do.

what does this do for top end? Seems like it would bring your top speed down.
