Electrical Issue... help
My bike was left in the rain Friday night and hasn't started since. When I turn the key on I get no start up tone, my headlights do not come on anymore, the high beam indicator stays on no matter the the status of the switch, the turn signals do not work but both indicators stay on. Any ideas? I already checked the fuse box under the seat and front wiring harness and disconnected/reconnected the battery. The starter turns but the bike never fires. Is there another Fuse box somewhere?

Must've been a hard rain you got Surf! I am puzzled by this question....
My best guess would be something is going on with the kill-switch maybe? If your bright light switch is damaged ( What sounds like may be happening with the light staying on full-time no matter the switch position ), then maybe your kill-switch on the other side got damaged as well. Just a guess though. I don't wanna say that's for sure what it is, but I wanted to give you somewhere to start.
The kill-switch would make since why the bike starter would turn, but the bike won't fire. Kinda like the kill-switch is permanently engaged like your bright light switch is.

you may want to check and make sure that no water got into any of the main harnesses. it could have created a short across the water. make sure everything is dry then check some of your switches and relays

Check the 30 amp fuse on the startor relay under the seat. And take a look at all the connections in the upper fairing, ignition wire harness, and the handle bar control ones. You can try making sure they are connected and if the are you can spay some WD-40 in the harneses to drive out any water.

I fixed the problem. It was the front wiring harness. There was one pin that was corroded. I cleaned it up and put it back together and it worked perfectly. THANKS GUYS!!
this discussion was a good source too.
