your rear tire could make a difference, but your 180/55/17 is stock size. Your stock gearig should be 16/46.

Also you might want to take into account that your chase cars speedo is usually (depending on make,model,tirewear,and age) off by 6-8%

stock setup I had my buddy radar me when my speedo read 95, I came out around 85mph.

Speedo healer is the only answer. I love mine. I can change the gearing all I want and all I have to do is dial it in with the calculator on their website and it works like a charm. I bet you guys think I am a salesman for those guys, I like em so much... Hell I might get a job pushing those things they are that good...

I love my Speedohealer. I'm the only one in my riding group that really knows how fast we're going...that's means I almost always get to lead, too!
