Default Motor mount miss-hap

So, I worked on my cctl and got that all worked out, but I was still getting this oddball vibration. SO SInce I just changed out the rear swingger and all of that gear I thought It would be a good time to go back and check to see if everything was still torqued to spec. Everything checked out. So I worked the slack out of the throttle and the clutch (things that I haven't done since I bought the bike new). I checked some of the other hardware. When I pulled the right fairing of I noticed that the frame-slider was loose and I looked in through the frame and it appeared that the bolt went through the slider/frame and then straight into a rubber motor mount, so I tightened it back up to where it needed to be and viola! No more annoying rattle. So am I right about that bolt running into a motor mount or am I seeing things, because it sure seems to have done the trick...

yes it runs through the front motor mount, its the only point that high on the frame with any rigidity.

No I've not made it through there on the honda. I think some friends and I are gonna go down the dragons tail before the fall. I actually live 20 miles south of chattanooga Tn, just 5 miles into GA, so I live in the foothills and not actually in the city. Chattanooga is the closest place anyone will actually recognize...

Yeah, i have taken my mustang threw chattanooga on my way to mufferesboro (sp is horrible but near nashville) i believe. There is like one mountain/hill thats remotely fun to drive on the way there. If want to meet up and ride the dragon i am sure i can get a few more to go as well if your game. I know the cops were patrolling the road heavily but when a group of mustangs went in june they only ran into one leo.

I plan on it. See we have some pretty twisty roads here. There's a place called highlands up in north carolina and the way up is awesome but the way back is sick. There is one section of road i love, highway 107, i think and its 70 80 90 even a 100 mph in the straightaways and the turn are not extremely sharp for the most part so you can carry a lot of speed.
