Default Let the fixing commence *new cct but broke something else

Since my bike is pretty well damaged I figured i'd start getting to work on fixing it up to where its decent on a budget. The only place i know of that has parts at a good price is ebay and i will hopefully have the left side fairing soon since mine is cracked and damaged. I need to know of a place i can pick up a set of mirrors at a good price? (riding with one sucks) And the cover plate on the left side? Not sure how well the people are buying from over in hong kong for the mirrors.

Also, I have been throwing the idea around about painting it. Any ideas on that? I have a friend that can paint and airbrush. I was thinking flat black but something a bit different would be awesome.

The starting pic

I have already cut the broken windshield to where its flush with the top of the upper fairing. Now the upper fairing is missing a piece from where the guy hit a deer so i was thinking of ordering a fiberglass one off ebay. I know fiberglass is not that great but i think it will look better than whats on it now. Any suggestions/comments are welcomed.

edit*the white wheels will be powder coated black

I havent seen that paint scheme in a while. I would keep it like that, just paint, or powder coat the rims black.

I don't think we do. I live near Clemson University, if we were to have one it prolly be in greenville.

Thanks. It runs when it wants to, gives me a problem once or twice a week but starts most of the time. Last week it fell over in the rain for like an hour or so, picked it up started it, smoked for a bit and ran fine.

I like it too since i am the only i have seen in my local area. I don't want to mess with matching the paint tho.

Thanks and wow, yours is in really good shape. The yellow rims are definitely different.

Haven't done much work on the bike today, i have a bid on the left side faring so we will so how that goes. $150 If i get this i think the bike will keep its true colors. I have been busy working, exercising, and building a garage for the bike and car so not much other time to tinker with anything else.

Anyone know where i can find that 600F4i sticker that goes on the tail section?
