Default Help my bike sounds like a "chick bike"

Hi everyone,

I am so excited - I picked up my 2005 F4i last week after 10 years without a bike, and I don't know how I lived without it so long!

The first thing I did was order a fender eliminator kit - that stock rear end is UGLY!

Now I want to do something about the exhaust and was told to get a "slip on" but that's where my advice ended. I'm not looking to wake up the neighbors or anything, but a little extra attention wouldn't be a bad thing...

Any recommendations for under $400?

thanks!!
Jen

two brothers sound pretty good for the money......Here lately they seem to have gotten alot cheaper than when I bought mine....the honda shop I bought my bike from said they are puttin em on for $249 (labor and parts)!!!!. There is a sound clip thread someone posted awhile back that has all the popular brands on it so you can make your own judgement.

I"ll see if I can find it..congrats on the new momocycle

Welcome to the site. And it all depends on what kind of sound you want... deep, high pitched, loud, ect. two bros. has the deepest sound, yoshi's sound realy good too. Theres a web site where you can go and put in what bike you have, select a exhaust and they have sound clips. Ill try to find it and let yall know.

take a look here and listen to some of the different pipes. they may not all be on your bike but it will help give you an idea of what the will sound like on your bike.
