I doubt my speedo is accurate, but I've seen 192 on it. I doubt I was actually going that fast, but I'd be willing to say I was over 180. Ram Air (cold air induction) definitely helps at the top end. To get my 929 that fast cost alot of $$$ in mods, pcIII, decked, ported and polished heads, full micron exhaust, cams. This was before I knocked a tooth off the front. Now, I have no idea what top speed is, hadn't had the opportunity to test it out, I'm hoping for about 170. (which is what the stock bike was rated for.) On surface streets tho, 100-150 happens in a blink of an eye. Its very very quick. there is a 1/8th mile dragstrip not far from my place, and they have a "race your buddy" night on tuesdays. I may give it a go, weather permitting in the next few weeks. Of course, I'm not a killer drag racer, hell, I"m not a killer in the corners (but I do have fun, and thats whats important.) My riding buddies have taken to calling me "slider" because of my apparent ease at falling down. (LOL) Frame sliders are my friend! So far, no high side, just little low side slides.
