Default Lowering f2

I have a 91 honda cbr with 33k. My girlfriend will be taking my old one over. I need to drop the bike about 3 inches. I didnt know if there was any good kits out there for it. The stock one doesnt give the best ride anymore. I was wondering how much can it be cut with keeping a decent ride.

Cutting what??? Dont cut the dogbones. You can get lowering dogbones for a good price on skibay!!! Lowering the front is as easy as loosening some bolts!!

Anytime you lower the ride height it will effect the handling in a negative way. If it needs to be done then do what you got to do, just minimize the change as much as you can.

The "negative effect" is a matter of opinion. No offense, just love the way my bike rides with 3" drop. It is a little different to ride, more body lean than bike lean, but I like hangin' turns. As long as it stays upright, then your all good!
