Default Any ideas for a replacement petcock other than a new Honda one @ $185??

I''ve taken the stock one apart and tightened it up as much as possible, the the seals are just shot. Anybody got any ideas for a replacement other than a new one from Honda? Any such thing as an aftermarket replacement, even a universal one? My bike fuel fouls a plug every few days, and that really bugs me, I know it''s not good for the motor to have that much fuel sitting in a cylinder.

Try bikebandit, I just replaced my whole petcock about a month ago and it was only like 50-60 bucks shipped......

What did you get? I just looked up the one for my bike, and it was this one:
AUTO COCK ASSY FU

227801-001 Enter 0-99 $166.18

I looked up yours, and it is 51.16, I wonder if they will interchange? Looks like mine is supposed to be an "Autocock" with some sort of vacuum diaphragm on the side of it, but the one that's on it looks more like yours.

Well looking at the schematics for both the bikes petcocks assemblies, I see the main difference is the fuel pump. My petcock doesnt have part #3 on your schematic. I dont know if itll interchange, BUT If you have the time you could order the one for the F3 and see if it works. Put it on, start it, run it down the road. Then if it doesnt work you could send it back stating it wont work for some reason! My best hunch is that it probably would work but I dont want you to base your decision on me!

Mine looks the same as yours. I think the original one had a vacuum diaphragm on it that kept it from leaking when the motor is off (I've heard about them but never seen one). It's a good idea if that's how it's supposed to work, and it does work, but not worth a plugged nickle if it doesn't.
I don't know if I wanna invest $175 or $180 to find out either.
