Default motor

The electric position sensor on the carbs will not fit inthe F2 frame
Just use a grinder to cut a pocket out for it.

BEWARE! - The shift lever (on the shift shaft) on an F2 points up while on an F3 it points down. The shift shafts rotate in opposite directions. I learned this the hard way.

F3 motor will go in easily. The install is direct.

You don't need TPS or an F3 harness.

Do NOT attempt to "dent" your frame for a TPS,you will weaken it in a vulnerable place.

You will need F3 carb boots to go on the F3 cylinder head.I'd also advise you to get an F3 radiator. Not required but I recommend it.

You don't need to worry about the other "warnings" in this thread. No offense to all other posters here.

Holla back.Here to help.

only other difference that I am aware of is the f3 has an electronic spped pick up sensor that you won't have to hook up. Have seen it done, and there were no modifications made, it was a direct swap except for the carbs
