this is my first street bike, so bear with me here. Ive heard talk of streefighters, and a friend said my bike would be a good streetfighter candidate. so I know streetfighters are naked bikes shortened tail type thing, but what the functionality purpose?? is it just a look? is there other details I am missing?

Just the look, but the lifestyle goes along with it. But yeah its mainly looks, and gratned some like that look better than fairings. Streetfighters carry that "badazz" flava, that rough and tough look!!

ah ok. I like the bare look as well as the traditional. I love ducati monster looks. I think maybe i will make into into a street fighter. will it devalue it though?

I would say yes that it would devalue the bike. Since the bike will be a streetfighter it will be looked at as if it was beaten up and wrecked a lot. It all depends on the person you would be trying to sell it to.
