So what's my F2 gonna run at the track????
Got a D&D slip on, K&N Filter, and a jet kit, stock front and rear sprockets as far as I know, I weigh 140 and ride fairly well. Got a tired Metzler MEZ2 170/60ZR17 on the rear. They are having a Funday Sunday at my local track, thought I'd go blast a couple passes and see, any predictions? Any pointers?

Im gonna guess ummmmmmmm 11.6 @116. I havent never really "dragged" my bike so pointers will have to come from someone else. I know you need to slip the hell outof the clutch and get to full throttle asap!!!!!
Let us know what you ran!!

Happy Camper here!!!!
12.42 w/a 2.11 60', 12.39 w/a 2.19 60', 12.03 w/a 1.84 60', and finally an 11.94 w/a 1.86 60', with a few more runs, I think I could clip off some 11.80s, maybe even some 11.70s. It's gonna be interesting to see what it runs at night, this was during the day today, like 95°~98°, and humidity way up there. Maybe some 11.50s????

I need a pair of mirrors. I had my friend order a pair through paypal from jagmotorcycle on ebay, it's been like 3 weeks, they canceled the transaction, but he hasn't got his/my money back.
Anybody got any recommendations for a better place to get some? Right now, I've got one I snagged off a moped so I can see behind me, but I really NEED a good pair of mirrors. TIA,

told you, low 12's unless you can pull a good sixty. they are hard to do on a stock lenght bike. Buy a front strap and you go faster. My bike ran 11.50's with 1.9 and 2.0 lights all day long. With a strap, 11.07 with a 1.6 and it never raised the front once. You can buy them off ebay and they really help with front end carry at high speed and while shifting and rebound on the launch.

I haven't been able to find any straps on Ebay, but I did find some on the net, I think I may just make my own. I did lower the front about 1.5" and cut the kickstand. New best time, 11.82, running average 1.89~1.78 short times, 112~113 mph. This other guy with an '05 Suzuki Katana kept lining up with me, and I smoked him every time. I almost felt sorry for the guy,
My 2nd run, I lined up with a lowered, stretched GSXR750 with lots of goodies on it, and I killed him all the way to to the 1/8, then he went on by. I kept wondering where he was at, I figured he's get me out of the hole and run away, but he only got me by about 4 or 5 bike lengths. Anybody know what the stock rear sprocket tooth count shoud be? I'm shifting about 11K, should I go a litle higher? I really wanna bang out some 11.50s next time out.

My bike ran 11.6, with my buddy ridin', stock. I don't like straight lines, but my friend does, I don't know how he does it. He had the front in the air through 3rd, if I hadn't watched it, I would NEVER believe it. He was consistent on that too, blew my mind! That was at Bithlo, or Biffalo, which ever you prefer.
