no chance of that, the cap was only off for a second, just long enough for me to visually make note that the oil is clear(ish) and at the full line.

im going to need to do the brakes soon becuase ive also got a complete set of new brake lines...

ill have to look for a hand pump. we dont have auto zone in canada, so ill have to look for the alternative.

You dont need any fancy hand penis pumps and what not to put the lines on. Just put the new ones on and let it gravity bleed for a bit. Then once you are getting mostly fluid commence bleeding as usual. Of coarse keeping the resivior pretty full the whole time so you dont end suckin air from there. you can go thru quite a bit of fluid getting all the air out.

Thats how i did it when i put my handbrake line on and my new front lines just yesterday. the HB one was a few week ago but its 66 inches long. So that took quite a while to bleed.
