Default Which way is reserve on my petcock?

I want to run my bike as far as I can on one tank but before I do I just want to make sure reserve is still when the petcock is pointing down and on is pointing up. Theres nothing to say which is which so I don't want to run my tank out on reserve, I really don't want to push this bike
