how do u change the time on the clock on the dash.i don't have a owner's manual to look it up in .thanks robert

On my 600rr you hold both the buttons down. Then you can push the left and right buttons to change the time.

Yea, Tyler's got it right for the 600rr. Even though the insturment cluster is somewhat different I think it will be the same process for the 1k. Try that, if it does'nt work let us know and we can figure it out.
