I recently gave away my old interceptor, it was an 85' vfr700f, gave it to my brother in law, kind of a cool story how it came about. I moved from Tucson to Nashville roughly 13 years ago, drove my 71' c-10 chevy truck, pulling a uhaul, prior to my wife and son joining me. Got to my dad's place, and the truck sounded like it developed a rod-knock. I parked the truck, (didn't have time to work on it) and traded an old computer to my brother-in-law for a 86' Bronco, drove the bronco around for a couple of years, and fixed my other truck. Traded the Bronco for a Saab 900 turbo, (wife's car) She drove it for couple of years, then we traded it off for the interceptor and 1000 bucks. (the car was in rough shape by then, cv's, turbo, etc.) restored the bike, rode it around for a couple of years, let the neighbor ride it one time, he totaled it. Began the new rebuild, got the bike done up to paint, but the engine had some issues, finally, got tired of messin with it..gave it to my brother in law..talk about karma, and what goes around comes around. In the end, I traded an old pc and an old motorcycle for a pretty decent Bronco. LOL. He's an auto mechanic, the bike is now running fine, still needs a few things, but its not far off now. This is the bike as it sits today
And this is what it looked like when I first got it
