You've got a great start, but To really make them shine like chrome get some dico polishing wheels and polish with the following

1.Pink polishing compound
2.White polishing compound
3. Jewlers polishing compound
Finally. Mothers metal polish

I think your bike would look awesome with the entire wheels polished rather than just the lips. my neighbor has an 05 gsxr1000 blk/slvr and he polished his wheels and it looks baller. quick wipe after every ride and a good rubbing everyonce in a while while the wheels are on the bike, i'd take the wheels and rotor off before putting it up for the winter and power polish them really good, then usually another good power polishing midway through rideing season will keep polished wheels looking good.

powdercoat your swingarm black, polish the entire wheels, polish up your rearsets and riders pegs and that bike would be off the chain hot! rearsets and passenger pegs would be pretty inexpensive through a chrome exchange company and would probably look better then polished. just my 2cents, cant wait to see some new pictures no matter what all you end up doing.
