Default chain

found another problem with the chain, and why it was a little noisy, seems I'd lost part of a tooth on the front sprocket, new chain and sprockets arrived today! any suggestions on the change out to make it go smooth? I also noticed there is no master link, I'm assuming I'll need to get a "press" tool to remove a pin,and the replace it, and will need some form of "riveter" to mushroom the pin once its in place? Thanks in advance for any advice, info, etc.
