go to autozone and buy goop 1 minute gasket maker. It comes in a little cheeze whiz can and will come in handy many times. put it on very thin on the cover wait a couple minutes and you will have a gasket, it is transmission oil resistant so your bikes oil will not leak through it. make sure to let it set up first so you dont squeeze excess into the motor. doesnt take alot since that cover cranks on pretty tight. i did mine that way and hasnt leaked yet. going on over 6k miles with it like that. did your take it apart yet, if not there is a trick to taking cover off and putting it on. you have to turn the shifter knob clockwise while pulling it off to disengage the lever under the cover from the knob. Probably made no sense what i just said, but if your having a problem. pm me and I will get you my number and i can help you over the phone.
