I haven't had much luck w/ pilots on the rear either....I think dunlop has a dual compund that is supposed to last a little longer. As far as oil I run the same all year round, but then it only gets down to around 40 out here....just make sure ya let it warm up real good when it's chilli and let that oil get to flowin before ya take off...
