If he knew what he was doing then I would say you should be just fine. I would ask him to replace the chain before you traded but that's just me. With him being a mechanic it should be no problem for him. You don't wanna trade your perfectly good bike for something that you're gonna have to start sinking money into right away with replacing the chain. No need to leave us alone. Ask all the questions you might have. We will all be happy to give our input so we can help a fellow rider out. You can never go wrong buying a Honda. You will like that bike a lot more than your 750 Shadow.
