I paid $1350 for mine running, but with 39,000 miles on it. One thing to consider is the availability of parts, especially plastics which are almost non-existant, even on EBay. Most mechanicals can still be had from Honda dealerships including all tune-up items and filters, but some stuff is ridiculously priced like exhaust, plastics, other stupid things.

Oh and, guaranteed the carbs are gonna need to be pulled if it sat with fuel in the bowls or anywhere else. These things gum up so easily. I'm pulling my carbs this week because my bike is being a little bitch. Hopefully a carb rebuild and sync should solve this issue. I'll give you an update on how it goes if you haven't bought the bike by then.
