a former co-worker of mine is the original owner of a 87 hurricane 600.he offered to sell it to me, a few years ago,it only has 3,000 miles on it.i've always wondered if he still had it and i called him tonight and still does.it's white with red stripes,never dropped.he did tell me it has a damaged plastic panel from garage damage.i'll have to stop by and check it out more in depth.he hasn't rode it for 11 years,i don't think he's started it in a while also.my question to you is what kind of work do you think i'll have to do to get this bike road ready?i know i'll have to start by getting a battery and tires,that's all i could think of.he's asking $1500 for it,good price?thank's
