So I worked the slack out of the throttle and the clutch (things that I haven't done since I bought the bike new). I checked some of the other hardware. When I pulled the right fairing of I noticed that the frame-slider was loose and I looked in through the frame and it appeared that the bolt went through the slider/frame and then straight into a rubber motor mount, so I tightened it back up to where it needed to be and viola! No more annoying rattle. So am I right about that bolt running into a motor mount or am I seeing things, because it sure seems to have done the trick...
yes it runs through the front motor mount, its the only point that high on the frame with any rigidity.
